We were told by a co-worker about Cindy. We immediately contacted her to get on her waiting list. We received out first doxie (black and cream) named Luna. She has been the joy of our families lives. 

A year later we ask to be put back on her waiting list and received our (chocolate and cream) Simms. 

They have awesome temperaments. We live local to Cindy, so we use the same Veterinarian. When we go in for a visit she always says she can always tell if the doxie came from Cindy’s litters.

Leyna has been such a fun, sweet, and adorable addition to our family. After losing our 16 year old dachshund over the summer, we didn’t know if we’d be ready for another so soon, but we knew we wanted a cream and decided to start researching breeders and get on a waitlist. I found Cindy’s website and knew right away we’d be getting our next dachshund from her.

We were so surprised after reaching out that she had a cream female available to go to a new home in 8 weeks and decided it was meant to be. Cindy was great throughout the whole process, sending us photos and videos and answering any questions we had.

When the time came to finally meet Leyna, Cindy welcomed us into her immaculate home and we got to meet all the adult dogs and the few puppies she had left, all of them were so well loved and cared for.

Leyna has been such a joy to watch grow, she is always entertaining and hilarious, and the best snuggler when she finally winds down. She keeps our older dog, who was depressed from the death of our older dachshund, on her toes and they play together every day.

I highly recommend Cindy to anyone looking to purchase a miniature long-haired dachshund, and hope that she is still in business when we are ready for our next (which may not be too far from now!)

Easy Pickin’s is the light of our lives! She is the ideal family dog, a happy companion, and is always down to snuggle or play. She is well mannered, a quick learner, and is happiest when she is next to us.

We wanted a sister for Madigan. Cindy was fantastic in getting us our new fur baby Quinn. They are Besties. Thank you Cindy. 

As an experienced dachshund owner, I spent hours upon hours researching breeders. It was very important for me to find someone who prioritized confirmation and temperament. Cindy’s expertise and dedication surpassed my expectations. Once we spoke, I knew she was “the one” and I feel so fortunate we were able to get a puppy from her. 

Not only is Madigan a wonderful puppy, but Cindy is a wonderful person and resource. I felt so comfortable knowing Madi was so well looked after in her first 8 weeks and the frequent updates helped us feel connected to our puppy throughout the whole process. Cindy was also very gracious in helping us navigate the untimely loss of our senior dachshund as we were going through the puppy process with her. She had continued to be a great resource for us and we feel like we are part of the extended CPD’s family. 

Madigan has been a dream. She is strikingly beautiful, but more importantly, she is the sweetest girl.

We can’t say enough about our experience working with Cindy Yoder of Cindy’s Precious Dachshunds when we got Chase, our one-year-old long-haired miniature.  Chase is our second dachshund and has been such a welcome addition to our family during this pandemic and especially after losing two pets in 2019.  My father-in-law met Cindy locally in PA and passed her information along to us.  We immediately contacted her and were able to get on a waiting list.  At fifth on the list, and knowing the upcoming litter was four puppies, we figured we would be waiting until Spring/Summer of 2020 before we would be taking home a puppy.  We were pleasantly surprised to get a call from Cindy that one of the families decided to wait and that if we wanted him, the fourth puppy would be ours. 

From the moment we said yes, we were provided with updates leading up to and on their birth date, and then especially once the puppies were born.  The detail and, especially, all of the adorable pictures that we started to receive from various photoshoots – newborn, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter – was amazing and we felt like we had known Chase before he even came to live with us.  After Chase came to live with us in April, we fell even more in love with him and, hopefully, him with us as well.  He truly has become a part of our family and, while there’s not much I can positively say about a pandemic, it did allow us and our two children to really bond with him instead of having to leave him every day while at work and school.  He may be a little spoiled – or a lot spoiled – but he is definitely loved! 

I would definitely recommend Cindy’s Precious Dachshunds to anyone interested in miniature dachshunds.  She is not only extremely knowledgeable about the breed, but it’s obvious how much she cares for and loves all of her dogs, even after they leave for their forever homes.

Parker is our third daschund puppy over the past 20 years and our first from Cindy Hoffman Yoder; it will not be our last. 

When we lost our beloved Cooper at the age of 12 to a brain tumor, we immediately began looking for a breeder thru AKC. After many false starts (I’m being kind) of AKC breeders and those on www.Breeder.com, we found Cindy. We started with 24 breeders and began the weeding process. As soon as we received her email, we knew it was a blessing and our search was over. 

She was the most professional and detailed contact we had made and helped put us back at ease that there are breeders only interested in the breed and what is best for the puppies.  After our first phone call where she walked us thru our questions and we answered her questions, it was very clear her professionalism and breed knowledge were exactly what we were looking for. 

Parker has a very sweet temperament and is ‘perfect in every way’ … our Vet’s description which I like very much. He is a typical dachshund full of energy and very friendly, excellent with strangers and small children. He loves to be wherever we are and is happy doing whatever we are doing. 

Although in the past we have always only had one dog, we’re quite certain that we will get Parker a buddy in the near future and would only consider a puppy from Cindy. In fact, I can say we have added Cindy to our family as well as Parker and would not consider going to anyone else for a dachshund puppy. Even during COVID, Cindy kept us up to date on Parkers development from birth with messages and pictures so when we picked him up in January of this year there were no surprises.

We absolutely love our new fur baby. We have been looking for a cream dachshund for a long time until I had searched breeders and found Cindy’s precious Dachshunds. I have been on Cindy's list for a while as I was waiting for the right time to get a pup. 

I just want to say how wonderful she was through the whole process. From the time Willow became pregnant, she included me every step of the way. Cindy always kept me posted with texts, pictures and updates; her knowledge, love and caring of the breed are excellent.

This was our first dog purchase through a breeder. We have heard many horror stories and were admittedly apprehensive in the beginning, but between the messages, calls, and eventually meeting Cindy and her husband in person, they were nothing but polite and professional throughout the entire process. They have a beautiful home and extremely well cared for dogs. 

We were able to meet the entire litter as well as our pup’s mom in person; right away we could see the undeniable love and effort that was put into everything. 

Our sweet boy Dutch Master has been a healthy, happy companion from day one and receives endless compliments from his looks to his behavior! He was easy to train and effortless to socialize. 

We love our little man more than anything in this world. He has been more than a pet to us, he is truly our furry son and the best thing that could’ve happened to us. Whether I am bringing him to work to provide pet therapy to disabled individuals or taking him on a road trip to see family, he has taken every adventure in stride. Truly a pinnacle example of the Dachshund breed and I look forward to another pup in the future from Cindy.

UPDATE: We were so happy, we purchased a second puppy a year later (Jan 2021)  named Camo and had the same great experience.

We are so pleased with our experience with Cindy's Precious Dachshunds from start to finish! 

She kept us informed all the way through from waiting list, through Ella's gestation, delivery, pup selection and their growth until time to welcome our Cocoa to her furever home!

We were impressed at her knowledge of managing the health and welfare of her dogs, which was important to us in finding the breeder that was right for us. Most importantly, her love for her dogs, her puppies, and her ability to place her puppies in kind, adoring homes and not simply as a transaction, shined through.

She provided photos, videos and snippets into our little lady's personality that helped us get to know her before we even had the chance to meet her and made us feel close to Ella and Cocoa, instilling a confidence in their overall health.

I want to thank Cindy Yoder and her Precious Dachshunds.  I got my little female mini long-haired Dachshund, Kahlua, two years ago this April and she is absolutely beautiful.  One of the reasons I chose Cindy was that she is very professional, loving towards her Doxies, and I liked the fact that she breeds her pups for temperament.  

Kahlua was easy to train and is a calm-natured Doxie.  I get compliments on how laid back she is all the time, though she certainly has a lot of energy as well!  

Cindy raises all of her puppies in her home and they are socialized, healthy, and happy little pups.  Once you get a puppy from Cindy's Precious Dachshunds you become part of her Dachshund family.  I loved that she would send me pictures every week or two with updates on Kahlua in adorable poses and backgrounds.  She even sends each of her pups' forever families home with a big goodie bag specifically tailored to each individual pup.

When we began our journey to look for another dachshund fur baby we were not sure where we would find an honest and trusting breeder who breeds dachshunds out of love for the breed and not for monetary reasons alone.  

I stumbled upon a past buyer of Cindy’s on Facebook and asked where she got her beautiful long haired dachshund puppy and she sent me Cindy’s name and website address.   Well needless to say I was impressed with her website and contacted Cindy right before we went on vacation to let her know we were ready to open our hearts up again after losing our 17 ½ year old Sparkles.

Cindy contacted me right after Willow whelped 5 babies telling me she had 2 available.  I was so excited and shocked that it was all happening so quickly and we agreed to take our darling Ember.  

Cindy was so awesome with sending pictures and videos as Ember and her siblings grew.  The love she has for her own 6 dachshunds as well as the love she had for the litter shone without a doubt through her many text messages and phone calls with me.  Cindy is a breeder who goes over and above to make sure her puppies are loved and are ready to transition into their new home.  She sends you home with a goodie bag with your pups name embroidered on it.

We asked if we could visit and Cindy opened up her home to us when Ember was 5 weeks old.  The knowledge and love Cindy has for the breed shone brightly during our visit and was so inspiring and beautiful.

Our sweet Ember is beautiful and such a joy with a fun personality and the sweetest temperament.  Ember is so intelligent and loving and brings a smile to our faces every day.  We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Cindy and I feel we made a lifelong friend as well.  

We would recommend Cindy to anyone who is looking for a dachshund with a great lineage and we wouldn’t hesitate to do business with her again.

If you're looking for a healthy, quality, well-bred dog with a sound mind and good temperament from a breeder who is knowledgeable and responsible, CPD's is where you will find it. Cindy has worked hard to create quality bloodlines and raise dogs that meet the breed standard. She is an incredibly educated breeder and dog trainer, and is very well respected. 

Cindy's dogs all live in her home with her family, and are loved/treated as such. Cindy welcomed my husband and I into her home, showed us where her dogs lived, what they ate, and walked us through their routine. Her dogs are not only gorgeous, but they are brilliant, so gentle and laid-back. We got our little Addie from Cindy in July (2019) and she is such a joy. From the very first moment Ella became pregnant, Cindy included us in the puppy experience every step of the way. We were provided with regular health updates including sonogram photos. Ella began whelping on May 7, 2019 from that point on we received picture after picture of Houdini’s new journey.

I met Cindy a few years ago when she wanted to breed her female Dachshund Willow. We not only helped her as she started her breeding program, but she has helped us as well.
