My Dogs
My dachshunds have the following:
- AKC Registration
- Canine Good Citizenship Certification
- Therapy Dog Certification
- AKC Trick Titles
- Quality Pedigrees (including some champion lineages)
We visit hospitals, nursing facilities, schools, churches, libraries, hospices and other non-profit organizations. And yes, of course we have to do tricks to entertain. We participate in parades and fashion shows, and conduct demonstrations on obedience.
My dachshunds are my family and are raised in my home.
To provide great socialization, my dogs:
- sleep in the bed with my husband and me.
- are cuddled and loved by the patients they see during therapy visits.
- receive around-the-clock love and attention.
- loved, hugged and spoiled with my grandchildren.
- attend training sessions, where they also mingle with other dog breeds.
My precious dachshunds:
- are NOT kenneled.
- are crate trained.
- travel safely crated.
- play together with no aggression.
- share toys and elk antlers.
- weigh less than 11 lbs.
- eat high value food with daily fruits and vegetables.
